Too much immunity

Not even March and already I'm in allergy hell. What fun. A willful overdose of loratadine supplemented by sporting, devil-may-care amounts of profoundly drowsifying dyphenhydramine. Olopatadine hydrochloride eyedrops for conjunctivitis and "oracular itching." Sometimes triamcinolone acetonide which is really effective but which requires a daily regimen and which I can't afford since I don't have insurance. So I'm sealed in a room with my Friedrich electronic air cleaner, with its electrostatic and carbon filters and its resemblance to a catbox for a particularly hefty Maine coon. As far as I can tell it doesn't help me much, but its low hum and occasional fireplace-like crackling I find reassuring. I can't complain, many people would love to be trapped for months in a comfortable room such as this.

I paused to sneeze, wheeze, drip, or blow eleven times while writing the previous paragraph. This is not an interesting thing to write about, and anyway I already talked about it too much last year. Henceforth a self-imposed ban on allergy postings.
